School Championships & Qualifiers Program

(formerly known as Four Corners)

Cornwall, ON – On April 5th, 2016, 9:15am members of the Cornwall Community Police Service will be at CCVS to welcome athletes as part of their continued support for Special Olympics Ontario.

School Championships & Qualifiers Program uniquely provides competition opportunities, with the opportunity for advancement to students aged 13-21 with an intellectual disability in the sports of track & field, bocce, soccer, and basketball.

The 2015/2016 school season will see 48 regional qualifiers across Ontario, with student-athletes vying for the opportunity to advance to the Provincial School Championships hosted in Durham Region June 1-3, 2016.

Beginning at 10:00am on April 5th, Cornwall will be hosting one of the qualifiers in the sport of basketball. The winners will be heading to the Provincial School Championship.
