Cornwall, ON – Justin Rainey, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on November 7th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man removed merchandise from a Tollgate Road business on July 16th, 2018, making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 7th, 2018, a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and he remained in custody pending a bail hearing.
