WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Kristopher Kootoo-Dupuis, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on February 7th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court for a theft and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 7th, 2019, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on February 20th, 2019.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 76-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 7th, 2019 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged during an argument with his common-law wife, the man assaulted her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on March 5th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 7th, 2019 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged in October 2018, the man inappropriately touched his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On February 7th, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 28th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 7th, 2019 and charged with threats. It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend, the man made threats to harm her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on March 5th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
