ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on February 4th, 2019 and charged with assault. She was also charged with breach of recognizance x 3 for contacting her boyfriend, being within 100 metres of him, and attending his residence. It is alleged the woman attended her boyfriend’s residence on February 4th, 2019, despite her conditions, and assaulted him during an argument. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – James Stevenson, 51, of Cornwall was arrested on February 4th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in December 2018, the man took a camera belonging to a man known to him and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 4th, 2019, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on March 12th, 2019.
