OVER 80, FLIGHT FROM POLICE

Cornwall, ON – Mathieu Forget, 33 of Cornwall was arrested on February 6th, 2018 and charged with flight from police and over 80. It is alleged on February 6th, 2018 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when he failed to stop for police while in the area of Tollgate Road and Fortier Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 15th, 2018.

THEFT UNDER $5000, OBSTRUCT

Cornwall, ON – Shonna Godfrey, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on February 6th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on January 21st, 2018 the woman entered a Ninth Street store and removed a quantity of meat making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located by police on February 6th, 2018 and identified herself as someone else. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 15th, 2018.

MAKE AVAILABLE INTIMATE IMAGES WITHOUT CONSENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on February 6th, 2018 and charged with make available intimate images without consent and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged sometime in February, 2018 the youth shared intimate images of another youth and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per conditions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
