BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Samantha Derouchie, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on February 19th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for being out past curfew and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman breached her curfew on February 18th, 2018 and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 46-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 19th, 2018 and charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged in the early morning hours of February 16th, 2018 the man attended a woman’s residence and engaged in unwanted communication with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 19th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 27th, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THREATS, ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT, MISCHIEF, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 19th, 2018 and charged with threats, assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, mischief and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the month of February, 2018 the man assaulted his girlfriend and threatened her on more than one occasion. It is also alleged he struck her with an object, prevented her from leaving the residence and damaged some of her property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police on February 19th, 2018, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
